Dancing Naked
     Dancing Naked is about a girl called Kia who is in grade eleven, who gets pregnant. The book is a collection of her journal entries, explaining the difficult decisions she had to make. At first the journal entries are about the decision of what to do with the baby. As well as the pressure she receives from her boyfriend and her parents to have an abortion. After she decides to keep her baby, the journal entries move on to the hardship she has with everyone judging her, and also with the abuse and pressure from her ex-boyfriend.

     This book reminds me of the Movie Juno. Just like Kia, Juno becomes pregnant, at first she wants to have an abortion but then she realizes that she doesn't

     Out of the entire movie this Particular Scene really reminds me off a part of the book. In allot of ways Juno and Kia had the same experience with not wanting to go through with the abortion.

     In both stories they almost went through with it, until they realized they really didn't want to. So they both had to make the same decisions

Pretty Little Liars, written by Sara Shepered is the first book out of the Pretty Little Liars Series.

     The story starts with the experiences of four girls; Aria, Hannah, Spencer, Emily. Each of them having to deal with the disappearance of their best friend Alison. All of the girls shared personal, and extremely important secrets with Allison. After Allison went missing, they thought they would never be revealed. Until they start to receive messages from a mysterious sender who calls themselves "A". Threatening to tell the secrets that only Allison knew. Is Allison back? Or does somebody else know their Secrets

    

     I really loved this book because it has such a good story line. It always keeps you wanting to know what is going to happen next, and it makes it impossible to want to stop reading. I also really liked how it had mystery and adventure, but alsoa little bit of everyday life. It made you feel like it was happening to you, it was also easy to connect to the characters in the book. Because, there were so many of them, and they all had very different personalities. For example someone who's parents are going through a divorce, could connect to Hannah. Or, someone who struggles to be a perfectionist and live up to their parents great expectations, could connect to Spencer. So, in conclusion I really liked this book because its amazing, and captivating storyline, and the connections I can make to the stories characters.

      I chose this quote because I think that it does a very good job of explaining the connection when you read a story. When you read a story it is like you get to travel to a different place. Sometimes this is to a foreign country far away, like China or Japan. Or even to a made-up imaginary land, like the magical world Harry Potter lives in. Either way you get to experience the culture of other lives, and you earn a better understanding of how people around the world live their lives. Like in Harry Potter you get to experience what it is like to live as a wizard. Or in the Bread Winner, you get to experience the horrible events that happen to women in Afghanistan
